Steve has more than twenty years of experience in marketing communication as a Creative Director, writer and Art Director on both the client and agency sides of the business. He provides top-level counsel to all of our clients on the creative elements necessary for brand building, the strategic selection of media, the importance of content marketing and its best uses within an integrated strategic plan.
His campaign experience covers all media, working for an eclectic mix of clients and brands including Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership, the Government of Canada, Coors Light, Coca Cola, Evian, Ford of Canada, Harley Davidson, Canadian Tire, Panasonic, MasterCard, Colgate, The Home Depot, Scotiabank, Citi Bank, Casino Rama, Roche Medical, Pfizer, Ansell, GSK, the list goes on and on.
Steve has managed creative groups, ranging from twenty-five people to two. He is an expert in managing creative output, allocating the people and talent to the campaigns they are best suited and is hands on, making sure that creative output is relevant to the market, the defined objectives and the brand.
To back it all up Steve has a bevy of CLIOs, Summit Awards, Mobius Awards, Bessies, The Hollywood Television and Radio Awards and a Best in Show at the New York Festival to name just a few. His work has even made it to the BBC’s Funniest Commercials of the Year.
William Blake was an English poet, painter, and printmaker. Largely unrecognised during his lifetime, Blake is now considered a seminal figure in the history of Romantic Age poetry and visual arts.
Chris has an M.B.A. from the prestigious York University’s School of Business and an Honours B.A. in English and History from the University of Toronto. His background includes eight years of marketing and advertising for Coca-Cola as a senior Canadian executive before leaving to join Loto Canada as manager for Ontario. Chris introduced the first instant lottery into Canada. As Vice-President, Sales and also handling the marketing portfolio he produced over $600 million in revenue. Chris was a founding partner of Lindley Kovar & Associates consulting on strategic marketing issues with ITT, Hudson’s Bay, OxyChem, and Mamiya Cameras to name a few. Then formed Quiller & Blake, where he is currently majority shareholder and CEO. He built the agency into a cross-border marketing communications firm, exporting Canadian talent and thinking to the U.S. market. Chris provides leadership to the account team and consults on and evaluates all strategic recommendations to agency clients.
